Generally, people think that stainless steel vibrating screen will never rust. In fact, stainless steel has good corrosion resistance. The reason is that a passivation film is formed on the surface, which exists in the form of a more stable oxide in nature. That is to say, stainless steel is oxidized according to different conditions of use, and it can be oxidized in a specific environment. This phenomenon is usually called corrosion.
Electrochemical or chemical reactions occur on all metal surfaces exposed to the corrosive environment, and they are evenly corroded. The part with weak corrosion resistance in the passivation film on the surface of the stainless steel vibrating screen will form a pitting reaction due to the self-excited reaction, forming small holes, coupled with the approach of chloride ions, forming a strong corrosive solution to accelerate the corrosion reaction speed.
There are also intergranular corrosion cracks inside the trommel screen separator, all of which will damage the passivation film on the surface of the stainless steel vibrating screen. Therefore, regular cleaning and maintenance must be carried out on the stainless steel surface to maintain its beautiful surface and prolong its service life.
1. Wrong cleaning method: use bleaching ingredients and abrasive washing liquid, steel wool, abrasive tools, etc.
2. Correct cleaning method: It can be washed with soap, weak detergent, warm water, neutral detergent, ammonia solution, special detergent, neutral carbonated soda water, 10% nitric acid, etc.
3. Specific method: Wash the trademark and film on the stainless steel surface with warm water and weak detergent, and use alcohol or organic solvent (ether, benzene) to scrub the binder component.
Stainless steel surface grease, oil, lubricating oil pollution, with a soft cloth to wipe clean, and then use neutral detergent or ammonia solution or special detergent to clean.
There are bleaching agents and various acids attached to the surface of the stainless steel. Rinse it with water immediately, then soak it with ammonia solution or neutral carbonated soda solution, and wash it with neutral detergent or warm water.
There are rainbow lines on the surface of the stainless steel vibrating screen, which is caused by excessive use of detergent or oil. It can be washed away with warm water and neutral detergent when washing. Rust caused by dirt on the surface of stainless steel can be washed with 10% nitric acid or abrasive detergent, or with special detergents.
