Prior to the operation of screw conveyor, it is necessary to confirm that the equipment, personnel, and conveyed items are all in good condition. Then, check that the movement components are normal without any foreign objects, and verify that all electrical circuits are functioning properly before the trash conveyor belt can be put into operation. It is necessary to check that the voltage difference between the power supply voltage and the rated voltage of the equipment does not exceed ±5%.

Generally, ordinary screw conveyors are basically trough conveyors, but grain screw conveyors are pipe-shaped, which is the difference in appearance from other similar products.
The shafted screw conveyor is composed of a screw, a U-shaped trough cover plate, inlet and outlet ports, and a driving device, while the shaftless screw conveyor replaces the screw with a shaftless screw and is equipped with a replaceable liner inside the U-shaped trough, which has a simple structure. The materials enter through the inlet and are propelled by the screw, and then output through the outlet, and the entire process can be carried out in a sealed trough, reducing noise and minimizing the emission of odors.
The screw conveyor body consists of three sections: the head section, the middle section, and the tail section. In general, when shipped from the factory, the middle section is arranged in length order, with the longer middle section near the head section, and the middle sections of the same length are placed together. If there are specific requirements, the customer should provide the order of arrangement when ordering.
The head section is equipped with an end thrust bearing to withstand axial force, and the middle and tail sections are supported by a support bearing for the screw shaft. In addition, the tail section is also equipped with a radially-movable radial bearing to compensate for the length error of the screw shaft and adapt to changes in temperature.
The form of the screw surface includes solid screws (S method) and belt-type screws (D method). The flange-type connection between the screw shafts ensures the interchangeability of the connecting shafts, making maintenance easier. The cover of the machine is a tile-type and is clamped on the machine casing with a cover clip. If the user needs to improve the sealing performance, they can add a waterproof canvas between the cover and the machine casing.
The materials that are suitable for transport by trash conveyor systems include powdery, granular, and small lump materials, such as cement, coal powder, grain, fertilizer, ash, and sand, with a material temperature not exceeding 200℃. screw conveyor is not suitable for transporting materials that are prone to deterioration, have high viscosity, or tend to lump together.
Because these materials will stick to the screw and rotate without moving forward, or cause material blockages at the suspension bearing, which will prevent the screw conveyor from working properly.
The working environment of screw conveyor should be between -20℃ and 50℃, and it is allowed to be used slightly tilted. The large inclination angle should not exceed 20℃. It has an important position in the field of environmental protection.
